The countdown to your wedding day is on. Here is everything you need to know in preparation for your special day!

BRIDAL PREP

1. SKIN

Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin. Taking proper care of your skin will ensure a beautiful, radiant makeup look that will last. Maintaining a good skincare regimen is essential during the months leading up to your big day. If you have problematic skin or skin concerns, please consult with a dermatologist to help you in finding a good skincare regimen. Do not risk testing out any new skincare products or changing your usual skincare routine just a couple weeks before your wedding— your skin may not deal well with surprises! Even the simplest efforts such as drinking more water or getting more rest, will help your skin to look its best. On the morning of your wedding, please arrive with a clean, bare face.

2. IDEAS

Send me any inspiration photos or ideas you have for your desired makeup look, so I’m aware of exactly what you want to achieve. This will help us both in preparing and ensuring the perfect look for your special day!

3. BEFORE / AFTER PHOTOS

For your best interest and for my portfolio, I take before/after photos during bridal trials to refer back to when replicating your bridal makeup look. If you aren’t comfortable with your photos being shared on social media or used in my portfolio, please let me know before our session. If so, I will only take a few photos of the completed makeup look for me to use as reference when recreating your wedding day look.

4. LIGHTING

If you would like me to travel to you for your bridal trial, please prepare an area with ample, natural lighting and space to set up.

5. HAIR

If you are able to schedule your hair trial on the same day as your makeup trial... do it! If not, I highly recommend styling your hair so you are able to envision your look as you would have it on your wedding day.
